No. You can keep the card-payment provider you already have. Vrodex POS works with it. We built Vrodex Payments (powered by Mollie) because it makes the work much smoother: one bill, one helpdesk, every payment tied to the right order. Refunds, splits and reports included.
SoftPOS lets a normal phone take card payments by tap, using the phone's built-in NFC. You need any modern Android (NFC and Android 11 or newer). No dongle. No special device. You're up and running within an hour.
