Voys. Know who is calling before you say hello.

Vrodex matches the number on the line against your bookings, your online orders and your guest records. The name, the table and the order are on screen while the phone is still ringing, on every device in the venue.

Why Voys

The phone is still the busiest channel in hospitality.

Guests call to move a table, to add two people to tonight, or to ask where their order is. Every one of those calls opens the same way: who are you, what did you book, hold on while I look it up. Voys and Vrodex take those two minutes out. The call comes in, Vrodex recognises the number, and the answer is already on the screen when you pick up.

On the floor

The phone rings. Vrodex already knows who it is.

While the line is still ringing, Vrodex matches the number against your guest records, tonight’s bookings and your online orders. The host picks up with the answer already on screen.

  • Matched on the number itself, the moment the call lands
  • Bookings open in the editor while the guest is on the line
  • Online orders show the number, the total and the status

What you get

Every call arrives with the guest attached.

Caller ID that knows your guests

The moment a call comes in, Vrodex looks the number up across your guest accounts, your bookings and your online orders. No second screen, no searching, no asking for a name twice.

Tonight’s booking, one tap away

A booking on the call opens straight in the booking editor. Move the time, change the party size or add a note while the guest is still on the line.

Online orders on the same screen

A customer calling about their takeaway gets their order pulled up: order number, total, order type and status. "Where is my food" is answered in seconds.

Works without a guest account

Vrodex matches on the phone number itself, so someone who booked once or ordered as a guest is recognised just as well as a regular with an account.

Five weeks of call history

Incoming, outgoing and missed calls are listed on the Calls screen, missed ones marked in red. Look up any number afterwards and see the same booking and order details.

On every device in the venue

The phone in the sidebar flashes while a call is ringing, on the POS terminal, the laptop and the handheld alike. Whoever is free picks it up.

How it works

Two minutes of setup. No new hardware.

The integration works with any Voys account. If you do not have one yet, we set your telephony up as well.

01
Get your telephony from Voys

Voys is the independent Dutch telecom company we partner with for Vrodex VOIP. We arrange your numbers and your plan, so you never deal with a phone company yourself. Already on Voys? Go straight to step two.

02
Paste one URL into Freedom

In Vrodex, open Settings → Integrations → Voys and copy the notification URL. In Voys Freedom, add a call notification, pick Custom as the service and paste it. That is the whole connection.

03
Add your API key for the history

Paste your Voys API token into the same screen and the Calls screen fills with the last five weeks. Without it you still see every call as it comes in, just nothing from before.

Common questions

What partners ask us first.

No. The integration works with any Voys account. If you are already a Voys customer you switch it on yourself in two minutes. If you are not, we are happy to arrange your telephony with Voys too. That is the Vrodex VOIP service.

Nothing breaks. The call still appears on screen, Vrodex just says there is nothing to look up. Withheld numbers and internal extensions identify nobody, so we do not guess.

We compare the last nine digits. "+31 6 30 84 63 22" and "06-30846322" are written differently but are the same phone, and matching on the tail brings both onto one guest. Numbers too short to be a real subscriber number are ignored rather than matched loosely.

Live calls are not. A ringing call lives only on the screens in your venue and is gone when it ends. The call history stays at Voys, and Vrodex reads it when you open the Calls screen, so nothing is duplicated and nothing is kept twice.

Yes. Outgoing calls show up the same way and land in the same history, so you can see who called a supplier back and when.

Yes, with one toggle in Vrodex. Calls stop appearing straight away. The notification URL in Freedom keeps working, Vrodex simply ignores it, so switching back on is one toggle too.
